## About the Role

* Strong problem-solving skills, particularly working with hardware and across the hardware-software boundary.
 * Process development, with a focus on creating reliable, streamlined workflows that others can easily scale and follow.
 * Able to manage workload and adapt quickly in the face of physical build and schedule challenges.
 * Able to work flexibly with shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
 * Able to capture software and process requirements, translating them into reliable tooling and workflows.
 * Able to plan and coordinate the delivery of projects with multiple stakeholders across different teams.
 * Familiarity with the software development process, particularly in scripting, automation, and building internal tooling (e.g., Python/Bash).
 * Working knowledge of C++, ROS or equivalent middleware, Linux, and git/CI - enough to navigate and debug an unfamiliar robotics codebase rather than waiting for its author.
 * Ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams, communicating technical requirements effectively with software, hardware etc.
 * This role requires regular presence in our workshops and test sites to capture requirements and develop a hands-on understanding of the gaps in the process and tools.
