## About the Role

* Strong experience administering enterprise applications on both Windows and Linux
 * Experience delivering application and platform upgrades in production environments
 * Experience with scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash, Python or similar tools
 * Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible
 * Experience with application servers, middleware and databases
 * Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills

## Description

* Plan, coordinate and deliver application upgrades, migrations and platform refresh activities
 * Ensure applications remain compliant with vendor support and security requirements
 * Administer applications deployed across Windows and Linux environments
 * Troubleshoot application, middleware and infrastructure issues
 * Maintain operational documentation and runbooks
 * Identify opportunities to automate manual operational processes
 * Develop automation using PowerShell, Bash, Python, Ansible or similar tools
 * Build and maintain CI/CD deployment pipelines
 * Promote IAC along with DevOps best practices

In this role, we focus on upgrading enterprise applications across our estate and supporting the design of future upgrades aligned to our growth strategy. You will join a team dedicated to streamlining and standardising application and infrastructure upgrades, with a strong emphasis on automation and modern platform practices.
