## About the Role

You're an experienced software engineer who enjoys solving business problems as much as writing code. You're comfortable engaging with both technical and non-technical audiences, working in ambiguous environments and turning conversations into effective solutions.

You're curious about AI, automation and emerging technologies and excited by the opportunity to influence how technology is adopted across an organisation., * 3+ years' professional software engineering experience.

 * Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, C++ or similar.
 * Experience building and deploying production-grade software.
 * Practical use of AI tools and technologies to improve productivity or deliver solutions.
 * Ability to identify opportunities for AI and automation within business processes.
 * Strong stakeholder management, communication and problem-solving skills.
 * Experience working across the full software development lifecycle.
 * Ability to work independently with a high degree of ownership.
 * Willingness to travel occasionally to UK offices.

Desirable Experience

 * Experience working with finance, operations or other business-facing teams.
 * Delivery of automation, transformation or process improvement initiatives.
 * Exposure to systems integration, data engineering, business intelligence or cloud platforms.
 * Consulting, business analysis or solution design experience.
 * Personal projects, open-source contributions or experimentation with AI.

## Description

Software Engineering & Delivery (60%)

 * Design, develop and deploy scalable software, integrations and automation solutions.
 * Build systems that improve efficiency, accuracy and user experience.
 * Leverage AI technologies and AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery.
 * Own projects across the full software development lifecycle.
 * Contribute to engineering standards, tooling and best practices.

Business Engagement & Consulting (40%)

 * Work with stakeholders to understand challenges and identify opportunities.
 * Facilitate discovery sessions, workshops and requirements gathering.
 * Analyse processes and recommend improvements using software, automation and AI.
 * Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
 * Build trusted relationships and measure the impact of delivered solutions.
