For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance., * 5+ years of experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and hands-on AWS RDS. * Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (AWS CDK or CloudFormation ; Terraform acceptable). * Demonstrated experience building CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or similar tools. * Scripting skills in Python or TypeScript for automation. * Production experience with Oracle or Postgres and solid understanding of relational database concepts. * Experience with AWS IAM, VPC networking, and security best practices. * Ability to solve problems and work collaboratively across teams. * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. * : AWS certifications, AWS Lambda, database migration tools, GitOps workflows, monitoring and observability tools (CloudWatch, Grafana, OpenSearch), DBA background transitioning to cloud and automation, and FinOps experience. Education Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. * 5+ years of progressive experience in cloud infrastructure, database administration, or platform engineering with a track record of delivering automation and infrastructure solutions in production and experience in Agile environments. Experience in regulated industries, accounting, or government environments. ## Description Our client seeks a Cloud Database Reliability Engineer to design, build, and evolve automated database infrastructure for a cloud- enterprise platform supporting mission-critical applications. You will partner with database professionals to deliver self-service tooling and reusable infrastructure that enables development teams to move faster while maintaining reliability and security.
