This role is assigned to the critical and strategic / complex / high risk undertakings involving activities to deploy, operate, scale, tune and troubleshoot server systems, website, app infrastructure and/or other systems. * Leads in design and implementation of major components of networked or other systems focusing on reliability, performance, security and compliance. Develops efficient fixes to ensure continuous operation. * Leads in the analysis of technical requirements, ensuring availability, latency, scalability and efficiency. * Designs and deploys software for server systems and associated infrastructure. Determines design and reliability trade-offs. * Builds tools and scripts to resolve problems and to prevent errors. Develops highly complex programs that establish and enhance standards. Develops the technical vision" and designs specifications of highly complex projects and performs as implementation project lead. * Ensures that defects in assigned projects or programs are tracked and summarizes and presented to management along with recommendation for resolution. * Responds to and resolves highly complex service problems. Conducts software and system performance analysis and tuning, service capacity planning and demand forecasting. Reviews and influences standards and methods for operating services and systems. * Interacts with internal and external peers and management to share highly complex information / solutions related to areas of expertise and/or to gain acceptance of new or enhanced technology / business solutions. * Develops, or may lead in developing, technical / business approaches and new or enhanced technical tools. * Has advanced in-depth knowledge of systems administration * Demonstrates proficiency in all areas of the professional function and expertise in key areas. * Provides subject matter expertise to business.
