 * Experience developing software in a Linux-based environment.
 * Strong programming experience with Python and C++.

## Description

Markon is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support the development and integration of mission-critical software systems in a Linux-based environment for the Fort Meade Customer. The Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain high-performance software solutions using modern programming languages and best engineering practices., * Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications in a Linux environment.

 * Develop and modify software using Python and C++ to support mission and system requirements.
 * Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and performance issues.
 * Integrate software components into larger systems and operational environments.
 * Collaborate with systems engineers and mission stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
 * Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation activities.
