## About the Role

* Strong Power BI experience, including overseeing the development and refinement of dashboards, management information and analytical reporting solutions.
 * At least five years' experience in data analytics, business intelligence, reporting or a related data role.
 * Previous experience working with complex datasets within financial services is essential.
 * Proven experience leading a small data or analytics team and delivering solutions within complex environments.
 * Strong SQL and data-analysis skills across large, multi-source datasets.
 * Experience using Tableau alongside Power BI would be beneficial.
 * Familiarity with AWS services such as S3, Athena and DynamoDB.
 * Strong senior stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to communicate complex analysis clearly.

## Description

We are recruiting an experienced Data Lead to manage a team of three analysts supporting a major funds data programme within financial services. The role will oversee data analysis, Power BI dashboard development and analytical reporting across large, multi-source datasets, ensuring complex information is translated into clear business insight and supports data-driven decision-making.

Role responsibilities

 * Lead and manage a team of three analysts delivering data analysis, dashboard development and reporting activities.
 * Oversee the development and refinement of Power BI and Tableau dashboards, management information and analytical outputs.
 * Analyse complex financial services datasets, including holdings, transactions, legal entities and regulatory reporting data.
 * Guide the creation of integrated views of firms and entities using information from multiple data sources.
 * Ensure analysis identifies relevant trends, concentrations, anomalies and potential risks.
 * Improve data quality through validation, controls, data enrichment and ongoing assurance activities.
 * Engage senior stakeholders to understand requirements, gather feedback and prioritise team activity.
