The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Kubernetes and database administration, and will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our data platform, including data pipelines. You will work closely with our engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of our data systems with our applications and services., * Design, build, and maintain our data platform, including data pipelines * Develop and implement Kubernetes-based data infrastructure, including deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications * Administer and optimize databases, including relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB) * Develop and maintain data pipelines and maintain highly available vector databases, such as Weaviate * Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate data systems with applications and services * Ensure data security, compliance, and governance, including data encryption, access control, and auditing * Monitor and optimize data platform performance, including latency, throughput, and resource utilization * Develop and maintain documentation, including architecture diagrams, technical guides, and operational runbooks Responsible for development of IT solutions across all components of software systems through design, integration, implementation and support. Proficient in infrastructure, security, software development, database management systems, and systems integration.
