## About the Role

* Strong commercial experience in Embedded Software Engineering.
 * Excellent Embedded C skills.
 * Strong RTOS experience - ideally FreeRTOS or SAFE RTOS.
 * Low-level embedded experience, ideally ARM Cortex.
 * Experience within a safety-critical environments
 * Experience with embedded networking such as TCP/IP and UDP.
 * Experience with software architecture, requirements and configuration management.
 * Degree or equivalent in an engineering/science/technical discipline.

## Description

* Lead technical aspects of embedded software projects.
 * Design, develop and test low-level embedded software.
 * Work extensively with C, assembler and RTOS technologies.
 * Contribute to software architecture and technical design.
 * Debug hardware/software integration issues.
 * Lead code reviews and promote software best practices.
 * Support safety-critical validation, certification and compliance.
 * Mentor and provide technical guidance to other engineers.
