This will help us excel at delivering fast, reliable products to stay ahead of the game. What you'll be doing As part of your role, your responsibilities will include: * Leading the delivery of complex frontend projects * Defining architecture for features in Next.js and React * Breaking down work, guiding implementation approaches, and unblocking others * Shaping and improving the codebase * Introducing scalable component patterns and shared state solutions * Driving initiatives that improve performance and maintainability * Upholding and evolving engineering practices * Enforcing clean architecture, coding standards, and trunk-based workflows * Contributing to improvements across CI/CD and developer experience * Driving quality and testing excellence * Lead testing strategy using RTL and Playwright * Evolve testing frameworks alongside QA Specialists * Improving performance, reliability, and observability * Leading frontend performance audits and optimisation work * Improving logging, monitoring, and incident readiness * Collaborating across functions to deliver successful outcomes * Working closely with Product, Design, QA, and stakeholders * Representing the team on project-level discussions and decisions * Mentoring and supporting the team * Providing direction, feedback, and supporting the growth of other engineers * Participating in hiring through technical interviews This job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of responsibilities.
