* Expert-level proficiency in Power BI, DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
 * Strong experience with DAX Studio and Tabular Editor for performance tuning and model management.
 * Proven ability to manage and optimize very large datasets in Power BI and Azure.
 * Solid understanding of SQL, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
 * Familiarity with Azure Synapse, Data Lake, and Analysis Services (AAS/SSAS).
 * Strong performance tuning: aggregations, incremental refresh, Hybrid tables, Direct Query optimizations, query folding

## Description

* Architect and implement scalable Power BI solutions for enterprise reporting.
 * Lead the BI roadmap: consolidation, migration, and modernization (e.g., SSRS/Excel to Power BI; on-prem to AWS Glue + Amazon Athena + Amazon Redshift + Amazon QuickSight).
 * Design and optimize complex data models using Tabular Editor and DAX Studio. Manage and optimize very large datasets (VLDB) for performance and scalability.
 * Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
 * Lead performance tuning, including DAX optimization and query diagnostics.
 * Ensure data governance, security, and compliance across BI platforms.
 * Mentor junior BI developers and enforce best practices.
 * Stay current with Power BI updates and industry trends.
