## About the Role

* 5+ years of professional experience in Android development.
 * University degree in Engineering or a related field.
 * Hands-on experience with the DJI Mobile SDK or comparable drone control SDKs.
 * Proven track record of delivering production-ready software.
 * Ability to bring a product from initial concept to customer release.
 * Strong understanding of geospatial reasoning and spatial data.
 * Willingness to support drone pilots in the field.
 * Experience with navigation and control of drones other than DJI is a plus.
 * C#/.NET programming experience is a plus.
 * Fluent in English; German is a plus.

## Description

Position: Since September 2024, Sulzer Schmid is part of RES, the world's leading renewable energy company. We are building the 3DX Blade Platform and need a senior Android developer for the Software Development team based mainly in Switzerland., * Design, develop and maintain Android applications for drone navigation and control.

 * Integrate the DJI Mobile SDK (and similar SDKs) to deliver reliable flight and mission control.
 * Collaborate closely with software and operations teams.
 * Provide technical support to drone pilots during field operations.
 * Drive a product from concept to customer release, contributing throughout the software development lifecycle.
