## About the Role

* Minimum of 10 years' experience in FPGA engineering within the space or high-reliability sectors.
 * Strong understanding of FPGA technology applicable to space systems.
 * Proficiency in VHDL and SystemVerilog hardware description languages.
 * Hands-on experience with FPGA design tools such as Vivado, ModelSim, and Libero.
 * Solid knowledge of digital communications and digital signal processing (DSP).
 * Previous experience leading complex FPGA projects in high-reliability contexts.
 * Right to work in UK
 * Expertise in design and analysis for high-reliability applications like space, military, or automotive sectors.
 * Familiarity with Low Earth Orbit (LEO) and Geostationary Earth Orbit (GEO) communication payloads.
 * Skills in signal integrity analysis and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).

## Description

* Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop satellite telecommunication payloads across various orbits and mission profiles.
 * Translate subsystem requirements into FPGA architectures and design specifications.
 * Conduct verification activities for FPGAs used in high-reliability space applications.
 * Architect, design, and implement complex FPGA solutions using Microchip devices tailored for space environments.
 * Develop intellectual property (IP) cores for AMD System-on-Chips (SoCs).
 * Ensure designs meet the stringent standards for space and high-reliability applications, including signal integrity and robustness.
