## About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced infrastructure professional who enjoys taking ownership of complex environments, leading technical initiatives, and acting as a senior escalation point within a highly regulated and business-critical estate., * Strong VMware infrastructure experience

 * Enterprise backup experience (Veeam, CommAct, Rubrik or similar)
 * Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity knowledge
 * Experience supporting complex infrastructure environments
 * Strong troubleshooting and operational support skills
 * Experience mentoring or leading other engineers
 * Azure and hybrid cloud exposure beneficial
 * MSP or regulated industry experience advantageous

## Description

The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining and evolving a large-scale hybrid infrastructure spanning private cloud and Azure environments, while ensuring backup, recovery, and disaster recovery capabilities meet demanding operational and regulatory requirements., * Support and maintain large-scale VMware and private cloud environments

 * Lead backup, recovery, and disaster recovery activities
 * Act as a senior escalation point for infrastructure incidents
 * Drive root cause analysis and service improvements
 * Mentor and guide junior engineers
 * Support infrastructure upgrades, lifecycle management, and project delivery
 * Work closely with customers and internal stakeholders
