## About the Role

We're looking for a Security Solutions Engineer who can operate as a technical SME while also communicating confidently with clients and stakeholders.
You'll ideally have experience with:

 * Network design and configuration
 * Cloud and on-prem infrastructure
 * VM and container deployments
 * Linux administration and scripting
 * TCP/IP and network traffic analysis
 * Security tooling and infrastructure
 * Client-facing technical consulting

You'll need to be adaptable, comfortable picking up new technologies and confident working in environments where no two projects are necessarily the same.

## Description

I'm currently working on a new contract opportunity within the Defence sector for an experienced Security Solutions Engineer.

This is a hands-on opportunity for a Security Solutions Engineer with strong security and infrastructure engineering experience, who enjoys working across both cloud and on-prem environments and is comfortable working directly with clients., As a Security Solutions Engineer, you'll support the design, deployment, configuration and improvement of a range of security solutions and infrastructure.

You'll work across areas including:

 * Cloud, on-prem and virtualised infrastructure
 * Containers and containerised platforms
 * Network security, routers, switches and VLANs
 * DNS and identity management
 * Security tooling deployment and integration
 * Linux administration, package management and scripting
 * Infrastructure sizing and technical requirements
 * Testing solutions against functional and non-functional requirements
