## About the Role

Senior/principal candidates should ideally have mass spec/scientific background, otherwise mid-level candidates without this experience can be considered.

 * Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering or a related discipline
 * Scientific background -desirable
 * Background in embedded or acquisition system software
 * C++ and/or C# programming (essential)
 * Embedded or hardware control software experience
 * Understanding of Unit Testing, TDD, CI/CD and SOLID principles
 * Linux, Angular, TypeScript (desirable)

## Description

A global leader in scientific instrumentation is recruiting for aSenior C++ Software Engineerto strengthen their Software Engineering team. The company is investing heavily in a multi-year strategic programme, with an increasing number of projects focused on developing next-generation instrument control software across a range of scientific products.

AsSenior C++ Software Engineer, you'll be working alongside a multidisciplinary team designing and developing instrument control software, enhancing existing platforms while contributing to the development of new technologies across Mass Spectrometry, Chromatography and Informatics.
