## About the Role

Do you have experience in X12 EDI?, We're looking for someone who's technically strong, detail-oriented, and excited to build reliable, scalable integrations:

 * A proactive and analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
 * Excellent communication and collaboration abilities across technical and non-technical teams.
 * Strong organizational and time management skills in fast-paced environments.
 * High level of accountability and ownership.

Must Haves (Highly Important)

 * 3+ years of hands-on experience working with EDI formats (Fixed width, JSON, XML, etc.).
 * 2+ years of direct experience managing and working with ANSI X12 834 files (this is critical for success in the role).
 * Experience working with benefits or enrollment platforms (TPA, COBRA, CDH, Health & Wealth, etc.).

Nice to Have

 * Knowledge of HSA, HRA, FSA, and COBRA structures and processes.
 * Ability to work independently and quickly adapt to new tools or systems.
 * Experience handling sensitive data with a high level of confidentiality.

## Description

As an EDI Specialist, you'll play a key role in ensuring seamless data exchange across ThrivePass products, vendors, and carriers. Your work will directly impact operational efficiency, client satisfaction, and the reliability of our integrations.

You will:

 * Own and manage a pipeline of 30+ EDI integration projects while meeting SLAs.
 * Collaborate with carriers and vendors to define requirements, coordinate testing, and ensure production readiness.
 * Analyze, document, test, and maintain EDI file processes across systems.
 * Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to existing integrations.
 * Build and configure file automation processes using internal tools and middleware.
 * Partner with engineering teams to implement new automations and SFTP exchanges.
 * Monitor production, maintain files, and track the EDI lifecycle.
 * Identify trends, recommend improvements, and create process documentation.
