Travel to various work sites, businesses, and/or meeting locations is required., As a Computer Systems Business Analyst 3 (CSBA3) with experience in developing custom software, Software as a Service administration, system integrations, research, and analysis, you will have a tremendous opportunity to leave your innovative mark while maintaining a work/life balance. You will help guide the Sewer Division's Sewer Billing team on the path towards increasing efficiency and delivering results to the residents of Pierce County. You will be working with Planning & Public Works' Sewer and Surface Water Management divisions, Pierce County's Finance and Enterprise Services and multiple outside software vendors on projects that address the needs of both internal system users and Pierce County constituents. Your focus will be centered on customer service and continuous improvement. Projects you may support as a CSBA3: * Supporting the Sewer Billing (IPS) system enhancement project by working in partnership with the Sewer Billing Team to identify challenges and suggested solutions. * Support Implementation of a new water billing module to the existing sewer billing module to support future expansion of Pierce County water utility management. * Supporting upgrades and/or replacement of customer facing sewer billing portal to enhance user experience and improve customer service. Core Daily Responsibilities: * Supervise and coordinate activities of a designated unit consisting of a minimum of 2.0 FTE; determine work procedures, prepare work schedules and determine methods for expediting workflow; assign, review and approve the work of subordinate staff. * Develop an advanced knowledge of the departmental business functions, information systems terminology, information needs, and workflow to plan, design, and propose changes/improvements to internal systems.
