This role ensures the reliable operation of hardware, software, network systems, and electronic health record platforms critical to delivering patient-centered care. The specialist works in a HIPAA-regulated environment, maintaining system security, data integrity, and compliance with healthcare standards., Technical Support * Respond to help desk tickets and support requests from end-users, providing timely and effective resolution to technical issues. * Troubleshoot hardware and software problems on desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment. * Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals, including operating systems and software applications. * Ensure electronic health record systems remain operational during clinic hours to minimize disruptions to patient care. * Support on-site users across multiple clinic locations. Systems Administration * Assist the IT Manager with system administration tasks, including user account management, software updates, and security configurations. * Monitor system performance and conduct routine maintenance to ensure optimal operation of IT infrastructure. * Participate in technology projects and initiatives, providing technical expertise and support as needed. User Training and Documentation * Assist end-users with basic IT tasks, such as setting up email accounts, accessing network resources, and using business applications. * Develop and maintain user documentation and training materials to help staff navigate IT systems and procedures. * Conduct training sessions and workshops to promote IT literacy and best practices among staff members.
