## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a 3.0 or higher GPA
 * Prior engineering internship, co-op, or professional experience preferred.
 * Experience using CAD/design software and standard business applications.
 * Exposure to product design, manufacturing environments, and engineering best practices.
 * Understanding of fabrication, machining, or other industrial production processes is a plus.
 * Familiarity with simulation, modeling, and design validation tools is advantageous.
 * Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems preferred.
 * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management capabilities.
 * Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
 * Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
 * Comfortable working cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and customer-facing teams.
 * Self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset and attention to detail.

## Description

The Design Engineer will focus on creating and improving engineering designs servicing multiple sectors including oil and gas, medical, aerospace, and other! This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet both technical and practical requirements.

 * Collaborate with manufacturing teams to address technical challenges and drive continuous process improvements.
 * Utilize engineering software and analytical tools to evaluate designs and support product development initiatives.
 * Develop and maintain technical specifications, drawings, and related documentation in accordance with quality standards.
 * Provide technical guidance and support to both internal teams and external stakeholders.
 * Assist with product development efforts, design reviews, and engineering calculations as needed.
 * Investigate product performance issues and recommend corrective actions when appropriate.
 * Support material selection, product enhancements, and other continuous improvement projects.
