This is a hybrid working role, with a minimum of 2 days per week in the office. As part of the interview process, shortlisted candidates will be asked to complete an assessment relevant to the role. ## Description We are looking for an experienced Information Governance Manager to lead the operational delivery of the Trust's Information Governance function. This is a key role in ensuring the Trust processes information safely, lawfully and effectively, in line with UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 and relevant public sector standards. You will provide expert advice and assurance across the Trust, supporting colleagues to understand and meet their responsibilities in relation to data protection, information rights, information security, records handling and information risk. You will oversee core Information Governance processes, including DPIAs, data sharing agreements, privacy notices, information risk assessments, audits, training and incident management. This role will also act as deputy to the Data Protection Officer, supporting statutory duties and escalation processes. You will manage and develop Information Governance Officers, provide high-quality reports and assurance to senior leaders and governance boards, and help embed a culture of safe, lawful and proportionate information handling across the Trust.
