## About the Role

* Strong experience managing ICT, structured cabling, smart building or technology infrastructure projects
 * Ideally 5+ years' experience within a similar Project Manager position
 * Good understanding of copper and fibre structured cabling systems
 * Experience managing patching, WAP installations and associated network infrastructure
 * Strong understanding of the full project lifecycle from pre-construction through to handover
 * Experience managing subcontractors and technical installation teams
 * Strong commercial awareness, including budgets, project costs, variations and P&L
 * Good understanding of testing, commissioning, quality control and project documentation
 * Experience across security systems, AV, IoT or wired and wireless networks would be advantageous.
 * Relevant qualifications such as PRINCE2, APM, CTPM, SMSTS or ECS would also be beneficial, although strong relevant project experience will be the key consideration.

## Description

* Managing projects from bid stage and pre-construction through to completion and handover
 * Developing and managing project programmes, key milestones and delivery schedules
 * Coordinating design development, procurement, materials and site resources
 * Managing structured cabling, network and wider smart building technology installations
 * Overseeing subcontractors, technical teams and installation resource on site
 * Managing project budgets, cash flow, valuations and overall commercial performance
 * Holding responsibility for project P&L and ensuring work is delivered within agreed margins
 * Working closely with clients, main contractors, consultants and other project stakeholders
 * Coordinating testing and commissioning, including fibre and copper testing requirements
 * Managing project documentation, O&M information and as-built records
 * Supporting pre-sales and bid teams with programme, resource and operational input
 * Leading project handovers and ensuring a smooth transition into support and maintenance teams
 * Maintaining high standards of health, safety and site compliance throughout delivery
