## About the Role

* 2+ years of experience building production software.
 * Strong development experience in Java, C#, Scala, Kotlin, or a similar language
 * Experience building backend systems, distributed applications, or data-intensive platforms.
 * Strong understanding of databases, SQL, and system integration.
 * Ability to take ownership of projects from requirements through to production
 * Strong communication skills and experience working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have

 * Experience with messaging, streaming, or event-driven architectures.
 * Exposure to cloud technologies, containers, or modern infrastructure tooling.
 * Experience working in financial services or other fast-paced, data-rich environments.
 * Interest in AI, developer productivity tooling, or platform engineering.
 * Previous mentoring or leadership experience.

 * Develop internal platforms, APIs, and data-driven services used across the business.
 * Work directly with front-office and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver impactful solutions.
 * Contribute to architecture, system design, and long-term technology strategy.
 * Improve the reliability, scalability, and performance of existing systems.
 * Contribute to AI-enabled applications and workflows where appropriate.
