## About the Role

* 7+ years hands-on infrastructure engineering experience
 * 2+ years leading, mentoring, or coordinating technical engineers
 * Strong exposure to Active Directory, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, AWS, Citrix, SAN, VMware, Linux, Windows Server
 * Familiarity with automation/IaC tooling (PowerShell, Terraform, Ansible, Git, SCCM)

## Description

You'll stay technically active across Windows, Linux, cloud, virtualisation, storage, networking, and collaboration platforms - while also leading, mentoring, and coordinating a mixed team of engineers.

What you'll be doing:

 * Acting as a hands-on engineering lead - troubleshooting, implementation, and project delivery
 * Working directly alongside engineers, removing blockers and reviewing technical approaches
 * Triaging and prioritising incoming work, balancing team workload against business priorities
 * Mentoring and developing team members through coaching and technical oversight
 * Owning contract/licence renewals, vendor relationships, and cost optimisation
 * Championing automation, standardisation, and a DevOps mindset across the team
 * Managing lifecycle for OS, platforms, and infrastructure-managed applications
