## About the Role

3+ years' experience in Cyber Security, Cyber Engineering, Product Security, Systems Security, or Information Assurance.

Experience supporting MOD accreditation activities and Secure by Design processes (ISN 2023/09).

Strong understanding of cyber risk management, threat analysis, and vulnerability assessment.

Experience working beyond traditional enterprise IT environments, including software, firmware, hardware, OT, or embedded systems.

Knowledge of secure system design, engineering lifecycles, and cyber security controls.

Excellent stakeholder engagement and consulting skills.

Degree in Engineering, Cyber Security, or a recognised cyber security certification.

Highly Desirable

 * Defence or National Security experience
 * Exposure to Operational Technology (IEC 62443)
 * Experience with Radar, Laser, Electro-Optic, or other complex engineering systems
 * Security architecture and system design expertise
 * Product Security or Systems Security Engineering background

## Description

As a Cyber Engineering Consultant, you will:

 * Deliver cyber security and information assurance activities across complex engineering programmes.
 * Support product teams in implementing secure-by-design principles and MOD security requirements.
 * Conduct threat modelling, vulnerability analysis, risk assessments, and security reviews.
 * Develop and assess system and security architectures.
 * Define and manage cyber security requirements at system and control level.
 * Support accreditation, assurance, and compliance activities across the lifecycle.
 * Work closely with customers, stakeholders, and engineering teams to deliver secure, resilient solutions.
