FinTech, SaaS or other complex product environments would translate really well. ## Description I'm working with a profitable, product-led InsurTech startup that's looking for Full Stack Engineers to join its growing engineering team. They're around 23 people, with a small, high-calibre engineering team, and have reached an exciting point in their growth. With several large contracts in the pipeline, they're now scaling both the team and the platform, moving from hundreds of active users towards potentially 10,000+ daily users. This is a great opportunity for an engineer who wants genuine ownership rather than simply picking up tickets. The Opportunity You'll join a team of around eight engineers, working closely with the CTO and co-founder. This is not an environment where engineers are handed small tickets and expected to simply implement them. You'll be trusted to understand problems, make sensible technical decisions and take features from initial idea through to production. The platform currently supports hundreds of active users, with significant growth expected over the coming years. The technical challenges are therefore becoming increasingly interesting, from scalability and performance through to architecture, integrations, automation and AI. You could be working across: * New customer-facing experiences and extranets * Document functionality and processing * Integrations with external systems * AI and agent-based functionality * Performance and scalability * Architecture and infrastructure * Improving existing products as the customer base grows * SQL / T-SQL * React * AI / agent technology They're particularly interested in engineers who are strong across the stack but naturally lean towards backend engineering. AI experience is a bonus rather than a requirement. ## Related Videos - [Watch Tests Go Brrrr! : Getting Started with Cypress in ReactJS](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/282-watch-tests-go-brrrr-getting-started-with-cypress-in-reactjs) - [Developing the Backend with Stefan Lingler, CTO at Shpock](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100360-developing-the-backend-with-stefan-lingler-cto-at-shpock) - [Building the Next Generation of Software](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100186-building-the-next-generation-of-software) - [Meet Your New BFF: Backend to Frontend without the Duct Tape](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/682-meet-your-new-bff-backend-to-frontend-without-the-duct-tape) - [Build and Deploy a Fullstack App with Open Source Tooling](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/775-build-and-deploy-a-fullstack-app-with-open-source-tooling) - [Nest.js - TypeScript in the backend can also be clean](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1033-nest-js-typescript-in-the-backend-can-also-be-clean) ## Related Articles - [Fully Remote Software Engineer Jobs](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/447-fully-remote-software-engineer-jobs) - [Navigating the AI Shift](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/629-navigating-the-ai-shift) - [Where To Find Software Engineering Jobs](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/396-where-to-find-software-engineering-jobs) - [Fullstack Developer Salary UK](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/251-fullstack-developer-salary-uk) - [Is Software Engineering Over-Saturated?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/418-is-software-engineering-over-saturated) - [Why Upskilling And Reskilling is Important For Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/428-why-upskilling-and-reskilling-is-important-for-developers)
