From capturing requirements and shaping the design, through to writing, testing and supporting the code that ships. You're not handed a spec and left to it: you'll be trusted to challenge requirements, propose better solutions, and defend your design decisions in review with developers who'll push you to do your best work. Because this software drives real hardware in real wells, you'll work closely with the Firmware team, the kind of cross-discipline collaboration that's rare in most software roles, and one of the reasons this job stays interesting. Expect a modern C#/.NET toolchain, containerised services, and the latitude to bring in new tools and techniques when they'll genuinely improve the team's output. It's a role that will stretch you, with a team around you that wants you to

What you'll bring: Strong experience with C# , .NET and Visual Studio A background in C/C++ , or embedded software/firmware Familiarity with containerisation, web applications and database design Comfort estimating, documenting and defending your own designs Confident communication.
