* Minimum 2.1 BSc in Computer Science or similar technical discipline from a top tier / Russell Group university
 * As at A-level
 * Experience in a similar role in a finance / trading / hedge fund environment
 * Strong technical and team leadership skills
 * Experience conducting 1-2-1s, providing coaching, mentoring, and project leadership
 * Expertise in modern C# .Net Core; Python skills are a plus
 * Knowledge of modern software engineering best practices
 * Experience across the full software development lifecycle
 * Strong understanding of Computer Science fundamentals such as OOP, Data Structures, Design Patterns, and Algorithms
 * Passion for collaboration and problem solving in complex, distributed systems

## Description

* Design and implement the logic behind core applications
 * Build APIs and microservices for data processing, business rules, and third-party integrations
 * Oversee the configuration and upkeep of secure, reliable server environments
 * Gather detailed requirements through meetings and workshops with internal teams and customers
 * Shape the product vision and roadmap by providing technical insight and feasibility guidance
 * Remain hands-on with architecture and design
 * Instill best practices in the team, conduct code reviews, and mentor team members
 * Collaboratively solve problems to help the team deliver high-quality software
