We're growing fast - and we're investing in a front-end platform that is fast, accessible, and consistent across markets. We're looking for a front-end engineer who cares about craft and architecture: clean component design, performance, accessibility, and strong collaboration with product and design. We're also pragmatic about tooling - we encourage AI-assisted workflows where they improve quality and velocity, without compromising security or maintainability. Your Impact: What You'll Do As a Sr. Front-End Engineer at Qover, you'll take ownership of the client-side experience - collaborating closely with design and product to shape how our products look, feel, and perform. Here is a taste of what you will be doing: * Use modern developer tooling (including AI-assisted coding) responsibly: speed up iteration, reduce boilerplate, and improve quality through better test generation, refactoring, and documentation. * Build and evolve reusable UI components and user journeys in React and TypeScript, with a focus on maintainability and consistency across products and markets. * Own front-end quality: performance (Core Web Vitals), accessibility (WCAG), reliability, and a great experience across devices and regions. * Contribute to our design system: shared components, tokens, and documentation (e.g., Storybook) so teams can ship faster with consistent UI patterns. * Collaborate closely with design and back-end teams to integrate APIs and deliver secure front-end implementations (auth flows, data handling, XSS/CSRF awareness, privacy-by-design)., * Hybrid & remote-friendly: We welcome candidates across Europe. Our Brussels office is a key collaboration hub, and many team activities take place there, but we support flexible remote arrangements and up to one month per year working from anywhere globally. * A Hub When You Want It: Full access to our dedicated space at WeWork in Brussels (Rue du Commerce 31) for when you want collaborative whiteboard sessions or legendary team events on the terrace. * Exceptional Culture: A deeply collaborative, inclusive community where you are valued for exactly who you are, regardless of nationality, gender, age, sexual orientation, disability, or background. * Massive Growth: You'll join during a high-growth phase, with opportunities to influence the front-end platform, design system, and developer experience.
