* Strong professional backend software engineering experience with Go. 2+ years of professional Go experience
 * Solid experience designing and developing REST APIs, microservices and enterprise integrations.
 * Strong experience with automated testing and relational databases, with a focus on building reliable, production-ready software.
 * An analytical and ownership-driven mindset, fluent English, and an interest in using AI-assisted engineering tools throughout the software development lifecycle.

Earn bonus points for...

 * Experience with Java/Quarkus alongside Go.
 * Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ or other event-driven technologies.
 * Experience working with complex domain models, enterprise platforms or leasing/fleet management software.

## Description

* Design, build and maintain backend services, primarily in Go, with a strong focus on reliability, performance and maintainability.
 * Lead the design and evolution of configuration management and self-service tooling for Miles Enterprise.
 * Work closely with Product Owners, engineers and business consultants to translate complex requirements into reliable technical solutions.
 * Take ownership of broader backend engineering challenges across the Miles Enterprise platform as you grow into the team.
 * Contribute to our global engineering community by sharing knowledge, improving development practices and helping shape how we build software at SOFICO.
