## About the Role

Do you have experience in Research?, * B.S. or B.A. in Information Technology/IT-related field or a minimum of eight years directly related experience required

 * Minimum three years' experience working in an information technology or networking related field required.
 * Financial institution experience preferred.
 * Industry certifications CompTIA A+, CompTIA Server+, MTA, MCSA or above preferred.
 * Outstanding diagnostic, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
 * Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize projects.
 * Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory
 * Hands-on experience with common enterprise software and hardware.
 * Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop Administration preferred
 * Knowledge of hybrid Datacenter architecture preferred

## Description

The Systems Administrator will be responsible for maintaining Teachers server and storage environments. This role will adhere to industry best practices and support the organizations policies to ensure a resilient infrastructure., * Assists with the daily administration within Teachers infrastructure

 * Monitors system performance
 * Ensures that records of system downtime and equipment inventory are properly maintained
 * Scopes, researches, and implements additional hardware solutions for Teachers growth.
 * Establishes, maintains, and supports Teachers critical infrastructure including but not limited to the following:

 + Active Directory
 + Fileserver
 + Disaster Recovery
 + Virtual Machines
 + Backup Solutions
 + Storage Systems
 + Certificate Authority
 * Access control responsibilities including user provisioning and removal.
 * Documents and maintains processes, procedures, and tasks
 * Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
 * Adheres to the Information Technology/Information Security training plan. Instructs and guides end users on security policies, procedures and best practices.
 * Engages with direct supervisor upon discovery of any possible information security risks with any new or existing systems and initiatives.
 * Takes necessary action to ensure risk to confidentiality, integrity and availability of data is not increased
