## About the Role

* Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
 * Minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience.
 * Solid technical background with deep understanding of analog ICs and the challenges customers may encounter when designing them into applications.
 * Strong customer-facing communication and relationship-building skills.
 * Excellent presentation and technical writing skills
 * Strong time management and prioritization skills.
 * Proven analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
 * Proficiency in debugging, validating, and demonstrating solutions using standard lab equipment.
 * Ability to work effectively in a global and cross-functional environment.
 * Familiarity with Altium Designer and Oxygen, preferred
 * Flexible to travel 15% of the time

## Description

The Principal Applications Engineer is a key contributor to both product development and customer support. This role requires a strong customer-first focus, with responsibility for developing hardware and software tools that simplify product adoption, improve ease of use, and enhance the overall customer experience., * Support design-win (DWIN) efforts for new products by developing application solutions.

 * Develop demos and present at trade shows to expand customer engagement and strengthen industry networks.
 * Support the Electrical Engineering Forum by providing solutions to complex customer application challenges.
 * Create user guides, test procedures, and evaluation boards (EVBs) to support new product launches.
 * Develop application notes that clearly communicate product value propositions and ease customer adoption.
 * Perform competitor analysis and bench testing to compare product performance and positioning.
 * Build a strong understanding of customer needs across consumer, industrial, and automotive markets to deliver effective application solutions.
 * Develop application notes and reference designs to support future design-win opportunities.
