This is a hands-on engineering role combining deep Linux systems expertise with advanced networking knowledge. You'll work across physical data centres, low-latency infrastructure and automation, collaborating with software engineers, platform teams and production support to continuously improve performance, resilience and operational excellence. If you enjoy solving complex infrastructure problems, tuning Linux for maximum performance and building highly automated environments, this is an opportunity to work on some of the most technically demanding systems in the industry., As a Senior Network & Linux Infrastructure Engineer, you'll be responsible for the design, deployment and operational support of large-scale on-premises infrastructure supporting business-critical trading applications. You'll work across Linux, enterprise networking, automation and observability, ensuring infrastructure remains secure, resilient and optimised for high-performance workloads. This role combines project delivery with production engineering, giving you the opportunity to build new infrastructure while acting as an escalation point for complex technical issues.
