## About the Role

Architecting and deploying CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions)

Designing and building Azure cloud infrastructure from scratch (VNETs, subnets, NSGs, firewalls, load balancers, etc.)

Creating and managing the Azure Landing Zone to support scale and governance

Leading the move to multi-region cloud deployment

Defining best practices around infrastructure-as-code (likely Terraform or Bicep)

Working closely with engineering leadership on platform roadmap & resilience

 * Deep knowledge of Azure networking: VNETs, subnets, peering, NSGs, load balancers
 * Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline creation and management
 * Confidence with IaC (Terraform preferred, Bicep welcome)
 * Passion for automation, clean architecture, and scaling cloud-native platforms
 * Excitement to work solo, take ownership, and build something from scratch
 * Greenfield cloud-own and shape the entire Azure estate
 * Real autonomy-no legacy, no red tape, no "we've always done it this way"
