LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS or CERTIFICATIONS: + Criminal background check required for hire. + Recommending ITIL Foundational Certification, v4 or v5 preferred. SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES: + Oral and written communication skills. + Provide on-site support as needed + Customer service and public relations skills. + Respond to inquiries for technology assistance through phone, email,and help desk system; assign work orders to staff through help desk system. + Critical thinking and problem solving skills. + Ability to manage multiple tasks with frequent interruptions. + Ability to manage multiple priorities. + Ability to work with students with diverse backgrounds and abilities. MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT OPERATING KNOWLEDGE: + Operating knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace. + Operating knowledge of installing, supporting and maintaining Chromebooks, Windows compatible PCs and associated application software + Operating knowledge of and experience with computer hardware and general office equipment, including telephones, managed print services, fax machines, etc. SAFETY TO SELF AND OTHERS: + Recognizes the importance of safety in the workplace, follows safety rules, practices safe work habits, and reports unsafe conditions to the appropriate administrator. This position is 8 hours a day Monday through Friday for the 26/27 school year. ## Description The primary responsibilities will be to provide technical support for building computers including workstations, printers, and audio-visual equipment. The tech position will be responsible for setup, maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of workstations and chromebooks; and, provide assistance in operating building computers and utilizing network functions. Additionally, the tech position will collaborate with the ESC Help Desk to offer support at the district level.
