* 5+ years' experience in software engineering with strong full-stack capability
 * Strong experience with Java (Spring Boot or similar)
 * Experience with Node.js and backend service development
 * Strong understanding of REST APIs, system design, and scalable architecture
 * Experience building secure, high-performance applications
 * Familiarity with testing frameworks and best practices
 * Experience working with Git and Agile methodologies
 * Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach

## Description

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineer who enjoys working across the full stack, contributing to both technical delivery and engineering standards within a collaborative, modern environment.

The Opportunity

You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software systems that power critical business platforms. This role offers a balance of hands-on development, problem-solving, and technical leadership.

You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver new features, improve existing systems, and contribute to architectural decisions. You will also support and mentor junior engineers, helping to drive best practices across the team., * Develop and maintain scalable, enterprise-grade applications

 * Build backend services and APIs using Java (Spring Boot or similar) and Node.js
 * Design and implement secure, high-performance RESTful APIs
 * Apply modern frontend practices including responsive design and component-based architecture
 * Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
 * Drive best practices in testing, code quality, CI/CD, and performance optimisation
 * Contribute to system architecture and technical design decisions
 * Mentor junior engineers and participate in code reviews
 * Work within Agile teams to deliver high-quality, maintainable solutions
