## About the Role

* Proven experience in software development using Java and C++.
 * Proficiency with Spring Boot and reactive programming (e.g., Spring Reactive).
 * Familiarity with source control management, particularly Git.
 * Practical knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins, CodeCommit).
 * Experience writing and maintaining unit tests, preferably in Python.
 * Security clearance at the SC level or higher.
 * Experience with ElasticSearch, Kibana, or MongoDB.
 * Knowledge of messaging platforms such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
 * Familiarity with ScalaTest or similar testing frameworks.
 * Exposure to scalable architectures and cloud technologies.

## Description

As a pivotal member of the technical team, the Software Engineer will play a strategic role in developing and maintaining essential software systems.  * Contribute to source code management and version control practices using tools such as Git.
 * Support CI/CD pipelines, utilising platforms like GitLab, Jenkins, or AWS CodeCommit.
 * Implement unit testing frameworks to ensure software robustness and reliability.
 * Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement activities.
