This position manages a team of network engineering and operations professionals supporting datacenter, cloud, WAN, LAN, wireless, SD-WAN, internet, and telecom environments. The role combines technical expertise with people leadership and works closely with infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud, and business teams to maintain reliable network services and deliver key technology initiatives. Responsibilities * Lead daily network operations, monitoring, incident response, escalations, and service restoration. * Manage, mentor, and develop network engineering and operations staff. * Oversee enterprise WAN, LAN, wireless, datacenter, cloud, internet, and SD-WAN environments. * Lead major incidents, root-cause reviews, and network improvement initiatives. * Drive network automation, standardization, and operational efficiency. * Use Python, Ansible, APIs, and Infrastructure-as-Code to automate network operations. * Lead network projects including branch deployments, datacenter upgrades, cloud connectivity, and hardware refreshes. * Manage network vendors, telecom providers, contracts, SLAs, and support agreements. * Develop network KPIs, dashboards, capacity plans, and performance metrics. * Partner with cybersecurity teams on network security, compliance, vulnerability remediation, and governance. * Establish network standards, best practices, and change management processes. * Work with architecture, infrastructure, security, and business teams to support technology initiatives.
