## Description

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Backend (Card Ledger & Money Movement) to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.

This role will focus on designing and delivering highly available backend systems that power core financial transactions and ledger functionality. You will partner closely with product management, design, and analytics to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions and reliable execution. The position also calls for strong technical leadership in a fast-moving environment, with an emphasis on operational stability, code quality, and team growth., * Own and deliver quarterly goals for the engineering team while leading through ambiguity

 * Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics throughout the product development lifecycle
 * Proactively identify and advocate for solutions to project and technology issues
 * Support the team's operational availability through metric monitoring and escalation
 * Foster a culture of quality and ownership by setting code review and design standards
 * Develop talent within the team through feedback, guidance, and leading by example
