## About the Role

* Previous experience working as a Network Engineer within a professional IT environment.
 * Strong networking knowledge, including routing, switching and network troubleshooting.
 * Experience supporting Juniper SRX environments, including VPNs, VLANs and cyber patching.
 * Familiarity with virtualised infrastructure, particularly VMware ESXi.
 * Understanding of Microsoft, Windows and Linux environments.
 * Ability to investigate complex technical issues and deliver effective solutions.
 * Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent commercial IT experience.
 * Eligible to obtain SC Security Clearance.

 * Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve network and systems issues to minimise downtime.
 * Configure, implement and support new network solutions and technologies.
 * Work closely with technical teams and project managers to deliver high-quality project outcomes.
 * Maintain and improve network performance, reliability and security.
 * Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, technical documentation and best practice.
 * Share knowledge with colleagues and provide practical solutions to technical challenges.
 * Ensure work is delivered within a structured, ITIL-based environment.
