## About the Role

* 10+ years' experience in an FPGA engineering role, in the space or an equivalent high reliability sector
 * Good understanding of FPGA technology for space
 * Experience with VHDL and System Verilog
 * Experience with FPGA design tools including Vivado, Modelsim and Libero
 * Understanding of digital communications and DSP
 * Leading complex FPGA projects
 * Specialist knowledge in any of the following areas would be advantageous:
 * High reliability design and analysis (Space, Military, Automotive, etc)
 * Knowledge of LEO/GEO communications payloads
 * Signal integrity analysis

## Description

* Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team of engineers developing satellite telecommunication payloads for a variety of orbits and missions
 * Flow down of sub-system requirements to the FPGAs
 * FPGA verification for high reliability / space systems
 * Architecture, design and implementation of complex designs with Microchip FPGAs for space applications
 * Development of IP blocks for AMD SoCs
