## About the Role

including APIs and .NET Windows Services.* Validate data using SQL and ClickHouse.* Support system integration and user acceptance testing.* Support release cycles and execute smoke testing.* Be a driver of automation tests within the team.**Required Skills and Experience*** Prior experience of evaluating automation potential and understanding test automation frameworks.* Full testing lifecycle experience including system, regression, integration and user acceptance testing.* Experience working in Agile teams. Familiarity with C#/.NET and scripting.* Strong SQL and data validation skills.**Desirable Skills and Experience*** Experience with Windows Services.* Exposure to ClickHouse.* Experience in an energy trading or financial organisation**Person Specification*** Must be a proactive self-starter and able to understand complex systems quickly.* Excellent communication skills.* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.* Highly motivated with strong attention to detail.*
Able to prioritise effectively.**Hours of work:**8.30am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday, hybrid working

Work ranges from a couple of weeks to several months in length and we often find ourselves multitasking to fit in the more immediate demands.The team encourages empowerment and accountability which sees us employ a flat organisational structure with an emphasis on getting the job done.The Analytics & Decision Support area focuses on development and support for analytics systems, trading decision support tools, data pipelines and services**Position purpose*** Provide a testing service to support all projects enhancing the systems in the Front Office Analytics & Decision Support area of the business.* Play a role in helping to increase the level of test automation**Main responsibilities*** Use, run, edit and where needed create automated scripts using appropriate technology (e.g. Playwright).* Produce test plans covering functional, integration, regression and smoke testing scenarios.* Take ownership of testing of new systems and enhancements
