 * Confident working with SQL databases, cloud infrastructure (AWS), and infrastructure as code
 * Comfortable in Agile environments, with an understanding of CI/CD and DevOps workflows
 * Excellent communication skills, with the ability to guide and mentor others while staying hands-on

## Description

* Taking ownership of core backend architecture, designing and delivering reliable, scalable solutions in Python
 * Building and refining APIs and microservices using modern frameworks such as Flask, FastAPI, or Django
 * Designing and optimising data models and SQL queries to ensure performance at scale
 * Deploying to AWS environments using modern DevOps practices - including Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and containerisation (Docker)
 * Contributing to the evolution of the engineering culture through mentorship, code reviews, and technical leadership
 * Driving automation and reliability through unit testing, API testing, and continuous delivery
