It includes a React Native / Expo mobile app, a React/Vite admin portal, AWS API Gateway, Python Lambda functions, AWS RDS MySQL database, S3/CloudFront hosting, and GitHub repositories for the mobile and admin apps. This is not a build-from-scratch project. The first goal is to review the current app, clean up key issues, improve deployment/maintenance processes, and help prepare the app for safe patient testing. Responsibilities may include: * Review the existing React Native / Expo mobile app * Review the React / Vite admin portal * Review AWS Lambda, API Gateway, RDS MySQL, S3, CloudFront, and related infrastructure * Help export/organize backend Lambda code into GitHub * Fix mobile/admin bugs and improve user flow * Help with Android deployment through Expo EAS / Google Play Console * Improve testing, documentation, and developer handoff processes * Review security concerns related to healthcare/patient data * Communicate clearly and document changes, Please include a short note about your experience with React Native, Expo, AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and RDS/MySQL. If you have worked on healthcare, fitness, PT, or mobile app projects before, please mention that as well., * Have you deployed or helped deploy a mobile app using Expo EAS, Apple App Store Connect, or Google Play Console? * Are you comfortable working on an existing codebase rather than building an app from scratch? * Are you available for approximately 5-10 hours per week on a flexible part-time or contract basis? * Briefly describe your experience with React Native, Expo, AWS, or mobile app development. * Are you located in Utah or connected to BYU/Utah County? ## Related Videos - [Building Better Apps with React Native](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1466-building-better-apps-with-react-native) - [Micro Frontends with Module Federation: Why and How?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/165-micro-frontends-with-module-federation-why-and-how) - [Innovating Developer Tools with AI: Insights from GitHub Next](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1268-innovating-developer-tools-with-ai-insights-from-github-next) - [MySQL Protocol Features You Should Be Aware Of](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100267-mysql-protocol-features-you-should-be-aware-of) - [Native Federation: The Future of Micro Frontends and Plugin-Systems in Angular](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1018-native-federation-the-future-of-micro-frontends-and-plugin-systems-in-angular) - [Bringing AI Model Testing and Prompt Management to Your Codebase with GitHub Models](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1536-bringing-ai-model-testing-and-prompt-management-to-your-codebase-with-github-models) ## Related Articles - [React Developer Salary [2023]](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/198-react-developer-salary-2023) - [16 Best Free React UI Libraries in 2025](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/148-16-best-free-react-ui-libraries-in-2025) - [Dev Digest 136 - No JS(on) of mine](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/482-dev-digest-136-no-js-on-of-mine) - [Find a Developer Job: 12 Best Job Sites For Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/165-find-a-developer-job-12-best-job-sites-for-developers) - [Dev Digest 121 - AI goes offline](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/456-dev-digest-121-ai-goes-offline) - [Dev Digest 120 - Apple and peers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/455-dev-digest-120-apple-and-peers)
