To qualify for this, you must be a British passport holder and have lived permanently in the UK for the last 5 years. ## Description You will work closely with product owners, developers and customers to shape the direction of the product and ensure it meets the needs of a range of user types across the platform. Typical responsibilities will include: * Lead and facilitate usability testing sessions with internal stakeholders and external customers including coordinating note taking and ensuring findings are captured objectively ahead of analysis * Synthesise research findings into clear structured documentation that links insight directly to specific product areas and user questions. * Translate research insight into well-structured tickets for the development backlog covering both defects and improvements * Champion accessibility as a built-in constraint rather than a retrofit ensuring all features meet recognised accessibility standards * Contribute to and maintain design documentation * Work upstream of ticket refinement sessions to bring UX input into the process early rather than resolving issues within scheduled calls. * Collaborate closely with development teams including colleagues based in various locations and time zones to bridge design and development. * Provide day to day guidance and informal mentorship / support to a junior UI designer supporting their development without formal line management responsibility. * Support and contribute to working groups addressing handoff and quality assurance process gaps between design and development.
