Employment is subject to a background check. ## Description As an IT Support Engineer / Systems Administrator, you will provide remote and on-site technical support for HillSouth clients. You'll work across a broad range of environments and technologies, including Windows servers and workstations, Microsoft 365, networking, firewalls, wireless networks, backups, cybersecurity solutions, and business applications. This position requires strong troubleshooting skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to independently manage and prioritize technical issues while knowing when to collaborate or escalate. What You'll Do * Provide remote, telephone, and on-site technical support to HillSouth clients. * Troubleshoot and resolve Windows workstation, server, application, hardware, networking, and connectivity issues. * Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows PCs and servers. * Administer Microsoft Windows Server environments and Active Directory. * Support Microsoft 365 applications, accounts, and services. * Configure and troubleshoot firewalls, routers, switches, wireless networks, VPNs, and VLANs. * Install and support network-connected hardware, including workstations, printers, access points, and other business technology. * Assist with backup, disaster recovery, data protection, and cybersecurity solutions. * Use our ticketing, documentation, remote monitoring and management (RMM), and remote support platforms to manage client requests. * Accurately document client environments, configurations, procedures, troubleshooting steps, and completed work. * Prioritize service requests based on urgency, business impact, and client needs. * Work with teammates and third-party vendors to resolve complex technical issues. * Identify opportunities to prevent recurring issues and improve the reliability and security of client environments. * Travel to client locations as needed for installations, troubleshooting, maintenance, and project work.
