Able to demonstrate organisation ability, time management and prioritising work load. * Demonstrate commitment to Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (QHSE). ## Description Reporting to the ICT Passive Infrastructure lead, this individual will be working on projects involving ICT passive infrastructure and building systems. This will involve full design lifecycle from participation on bid work, designing passive networks and systems through to representing the client's interests during passive systems installation. As a Senior ICT Engineer you will be actively involved in the development of the capability, including mentoring and developing others, pursuing projects and assisting to write bids to secure interesting work. * The role may occasionally require travel to other UK mainland locations, including overnight stays, and there are opportunities for overseas work. * You will be required to undergo a security vetting process and offers of employment will be subject to relevant security clearance being granted. * Applicants for this position must have the right to work in the UK without restriction. * Full UK driving licence. * UK passport., This role will act as a Senior ICT Engineer working as part of a team on various projects for a number of clients. The role will include: * Passive systems ICT design work including AutoCAD designs and writing technical documents and specifications. * Building systems design work including AutoCAD designs and writing technical documents and specifications. * Liaison with other contractors, companies, suppliers and internal engineering disciplines. * Have past experience and proven competence in passive system design on large and small projects. * Experience of working within a team of ICT Technicians and Engineers and lead a package of work including managing others. * Be sufficiently experienced to direct, guide and develop less experienced Technicians / Engineers on a range of different client design standards and drawing practices applicable to all types of ICT infrastructure. * Ensure Atkins corporate business processes and procedures are followed as appropriate, and assist in meeting the requirements of internal and external audit teams; * Support bid work, including the preparation of responses to PQQ and ITT; and * Assist in the development of the capability., We are committed to creating a culture where everyone feels that they belong - a place where we can all be ourselves, thrive and develop to be the best we can be.
