## About the Role

* Team Leadership - Providing technical guidance, coaching and mentoring to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
 * A minimum of 5 years' commercial development experience using VB.NET and C#.
 * Expertise in SQL Server, including the development and maintenance of complex Stored Procedures and Functions.
 * Azure DevOps.
 * A solid understanding of software development principles and best practices.

Desirable Skills and Experience

 * Familiarity with WinForms and WebForms.
 * Experience with Azure cloud technologies.
 * Experience with Mobile application development and deployments
 * Previous involvement in large-scale software migrations or transformations.

## Description

* Develop and maintain the existing VB.NET codebase, ensuring high performance and reliability.
 * Work with SQL Server to create, optimise, and manage complex Stored Procedures and Functions.
 * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, QA, and DevOps, to ensure successful delivery of project goals.
 * Support the migration of legacy systems to a modern C#, .NET Core, and React technology stack.
 * Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues in a timely manner.
 * Help organise and participate in on call duties to support customers out of hours.
