## About the Role

* Previous experience in an IT Support Engineer, Desktop Support or Systems Administrator role.
 * Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory and Group Policy.
 * Experience with Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Defender and Modern Workplace technologies.
 * Good understanding of networking principles including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and VPNs.
 * Experience supporting PCs, servers, printers and peripheral devices.
 * Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
 * Strong communication skills with a customer-first approach.
 * The ability to prioritise workloads and work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.

## Description

At Arvato, we're looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer to join our IT team at our Corby site. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in maintaining our IT infrastructure while providing first-class support to colleagues across the business.

What you'll be doing:

 * Acting as the first point of contact for IT support via our ITSM system.
 * Troubleshooting hardware, software, network and user account issues.
 * Building and deploying laptops and desktops using Modern Workplace technologies.
 * Installing, configuring and maintaining IT hardware, software and telecommunications equipment.
 * Managing Active Directory user accounts, permissions and Group Policy.
 * Supporting Microsoft Intune, Defender for Endpoint and Microsoft 365 environments.
 * Performing server maintenance, backups and ensuring system security.
 * Maintaining IT documentation and standard operating procedures.
 * Working closely with third-party suppliers to resolve technical issues.
 * Identifying opportunities to improve IT processes and the end-user experience.
