(1+ years of experience). * You have a solid understanding of OT Infrastructure and Industrial Protocols, including PLCs, HMIs, OPC UA, PROFINET, machine-to-machine communication, OT troubleshooting, and the secure integration of solutions into brownfield factory environments. You also understand the emerging role of AI agents in OT environments and the underlying connectivity, security, and operational requirements they introduce. * You possess knowledge of Cybersecurity, PKI, certificate lifecycle management, Active Directory, Single Sign-On (at least 1+ year of experience). * You are able to bridge IT and OT requirements and collaborate effectively with architects, factory engineers, operations teams, and business stakeholders. * You are passionate about automation, standardization, and continuous improvement, with a strong focus on reducing manual effort through scalable technical solutions. * You provide your support during Central European Time Zone (CET). * Fluent English skills complete your profile. German language skills are beneficial. ## Description As an Automation Engineer (f/m/d) for IT/OT Security Platforms, you will play a key role in building, automating, and operating the technical foundation of these strategic services. You will work closely with service managers, solution architects, operations teams, and factories worldwide to deliver scalable, automated, and secure solutions that support Siemens' Zero Trust and industrial digitalization strategy.
